What sort of game is this?
Shape Shifter: Formations is an action twin-stick shooter with rogue-lite elements, where you must destroy hordes of geometric enemies alone or with a friend.

What will be in early access?
- Solo or 2 player local co-op.
- 10 Ships each with their own unique active and passive abilities.
- Over 10 different weapons to choose from.
- Over 130 infinitely stacking upgrades.
- 4 levels each with their own unique boss.
- A large amount of challenges to complete to unlock weapons, ships and upgrades as you play.
- A large skill tree to provided permanent upgrades in between runs.
- Customizable difficulty settings with various modifiers and increasing rewards.

How does the co-op work?
- Both players can select their own ship and character at the start of the run.
- XP is shared between players, however each can select their own upgrades to create their own build.
- If a player dies during a run, they can be revived if the other player reaches a certain point.
- Players earn currency together, but spend it separately so there's no need to share upgrades.
