No, "ideally" it's supposed to remain running so you don't need to keep logging in, which sometimes works until you reboot your machine. That is a horrible idea, but they couldn't even get that right so it breaks, forgets you're logged in, forgets you're even activated and asks for a key again, etc. etc.

It's ubisoft. It's just what they do. Brilliant developers, absolutely incompetent management.
If they're gonna gut out online co-op, they should also gut Ubiconnect garbage too.

This is a pain and I haven't found anywhere how to solve this.

Hey guys,

Sorry to hear that every time you login you need to retype your password.

To prevent this I would recommend to launch Steam and Ubisoft Connect using admin rights [ubi.li], this should then allow Ubisoft Connect permissions to save your password when you click 'remember me' for future reference.

Any trouble, just let us know

Unfortunately this doesn't work, I configured Steam and Ubisoft Connect as you said but it keeps asking for my password, even with Ubisoft Connect already open.

Sorry for the english, i'm from Brazil and learning the language. I think I managed to express myself in an understandable way.

UbiConnetct don't asks password when player starts FarCry 5, but asking for password, when starting FarCry3. It is not a problem of ubisoftconnect as itself.
Nothing changes, when starting full ubiconnect client before starting the game, as administartor too. FC5 - starting normally, FC3 - asking a password.

You know what's worse than re-entering your password ?

---Ubisoft Connect - Connection Lost - A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

---There was an error during your login to Ubisoft Connect. Please restart your client and try again. (Error dolphin-028)

This is my experience as well. Nothing I tried got FC3 to login automatically. FC5 had no issues so far.
Go to Username\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher and open settings.yaml with a text editor. Under the "User" section change "offline: false" to "offline: true", save and mark the file as read only. You may need to reboot for it to take effect.

Already doing this. FC3 doesn't work, FC5 does.
