Can't login to Uplay, can't change password, what now?
When I start Far Cry 3, the Uplay window comes up. I can't login with my old password, and when I hit the "recover password" link, it just takes me to a Ubisoft "error" page. I tried going to the Ubisoft website and logging in to Uplay from there, but when I hit the "Forgot your password" link and enter my email address and security code, nothing happens -- it says I'll get an email with instructions on resetting my password, but this never happens. I tried it several times and I know that the email is correct, but even after waiting quite a while I didn't receive anything (and yes -- I checked the spam folder.)

When I go to the "support" section of the ubisoft website, I can't do anything without first logging in, which of course is the whole problem. In other words, I can't ask any questions about logging in without first logging in. I checked my old confirmation emails from uplay, and the instructions say to use the ubisoft support site for any quesions. That site, once again, requires me to log in, and I can't find any support email address for uplay.

I'm kind of astonished. I paid for a product, but I can't find any way of contacting them to tell them it isn't working. How do I procede?

WRITE DOWN THE E MAIL YOU USED AND PASSWORDS YOU USE WHEN CREATING ONLINE ACCOUNTS ..steam works the same way .. if you forget your account details .. no you can not acess your games
It's not the same, steam's password recovery system does work, Ubisoft's one doesn't.

It's 2019 and THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE! What the ♥♥♥♥, Ubisoft?

Yip I have the same issue. I could not remember which password I used for the Uplay account I created for the AC Odyssee weekend. I bought the game after, downloaded it on my game pc and now can't reset my password because their crappy password recovery website does not work -_- ... And even don't get support because support is only during my timezone working hours. Nobody working in other timezones? So annoyed
My browser luckily saved my password, and when I logged into the UPlay platform through launching Far Cry 3, while logged in on my browser, it bypassed the login. Hope this saves some of you guys...
ALWAYS WRITE DOWN passwords and the e mail account you use when you make any online account

go buy a lil book at a local office supply store ..or use an old check book register booklet
..store it in the bottom of your PC case or your desk .
it will save you tons of hassle in the future

also if you forget what your e mail account or password you need to contact Support ..

works the same way for STEAM for BANKS for Credit cards ..CABLE BILLS , ELECTRIC BILLS , CAR PAYMENTS ,PHONE BILLS ,brokerage accounts and well ... for any online account

and do not EVER use the same passwords for your accounts

WRITE THAT STUFF DOWN

hell you could even use a sheet of loose leaf paper and slide it in the bottom of your PC case if your too cheap to go buy a lil address book to write it in ,,that costs $1

It's unbelievable that this is still an issue. I can't access my ubisoft connect account because I deleted the email associated with it years ago

It is currently 7/31/2024 and this issue is persistent lol

Hi Fruit_Sergeant_Oranges,

You mentioned that you are still encountering this issue.

To confirm are you using the latest version of the Ubisoft Connect launcher and not the Uplay launcher, as Uplay is the old launcher.

If you are using Ubisoft Connect, could you please provide some screenshots showing step by step what is happening.

Have you also tried resetting your password from the Ubisoft account website instead?

If so do you receive the email? If not can you also check your spam/junk mail folder in case the emails are being filtered.
