Can I play this without making a UBISoft account?

It feels wierd that i have to make a account and register my personal stuff when i just like to play the game single player offline. I have bought the game in steam so why can't i play it without all this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Or am I missing something?

How do I play Uplay games without Uplay?
If the game is legit then you can't play without Uplay and Ubisoft games definitely require a launcher for it to run, just like some games require Steam or Origin.

NO MATTER WHERE YOU BUY THE GAME ..even on DVD a ubi account is required as UBISOFT Provides all co op and MP connection via the UBI connect app it also tracks your progress for rewards ubi cloud server services save your game if you leave that option on and ubi connect is also used for unlocking ubi points , just by playing your game ,that you can use to get games at a discount direct from UBI's store

its nothing new .........FAR CRY 3 has ALWAYS required a UBI account

you may have purchased the game from STEAM but its really NOT a valve made title

it is and always will be a UBISOFT DEVELOPED TITLE

sorry for your disappointment ubi connect has always worked fine here for me on all my systems i ever installed it to ever since 2012

just make sure you install the updated version of ubi connect ..steam does not provide that with the game files

the info they collect >? is your e mail and your password for gods sake ... for ACCOUNT SECURITY ..steam does the same thing .... log into a different account ..you can not get access to your games

I have ran into a snag with this one today. When I try to start up the game, it's asking from the ubisoft log in for the password. However the email that's showing is not my email, not can I change to the right one.
I went to ubisoft site and my username and password are correct there. Steam username and password correct here. Now the game can't be logged into at this time to play?

As mentioned above, I can confirm that the Ubisoft Connect launcher and Ubisoft account are required to run our titles. It is mandatory in order to activate your game and be able to verify your ownership of the title.

Something similar is happening to me, I don't have access to my ubisoft account anymore, neither to the email address I use in the account. Microsoft makes it hard for me to access my own account and then I'm not able to change the password and play the game. Feeling bad for losing time solving a stupid problem intead of enjoying it.

ALWAYS WRITE DOWN THE E MAIL AND PASSWORD YOU USE WHEN YOU CREATE ONLINE ACCOUNTS

your games are bound to the account you activate them on

STEAM WORKS THE SAME WAY ..log in to a different account.... NO your games will not be available

if you have an account problem you will need to contact UBISOFT SUPPORT Directly

and yes provide proof of ownership

STEAM saves that by the way if you look in your steam account under purchases

It would be easy if Ubisoft made it where a person can fix there email issue. But they don't. I haven't had any issue up to this point because I've not logged into Ubisoft in over 15 years. But somewhere along the way, the email got wrong. Now I'm in a waiting game for a response
from them.

again you need to contact UBI support with a ticket or use the live chat feature when it's available
