Fire up FC3 and make sure you have DX11 enabled in the graphics settings.
This took me from 20fps to 80fps on ultra settings on my 1070.
5900k and 3080 ti suprim x here. I get anywhere from 80-250+ fps depending on the area.
All temps under 70 and usage is around 40% on everything.
Not sure it entirely depends on the architecture but it certainly plays a role. I remember getting 60-80 fps with my old system all on ultra. OCed the crap out of my skylake (6700k) and 980 ti.
My msi 980ti ran at 91 degrees for years lmao, beast of a card i bought, still have.
I could force the suprim x with afterburner but i'm kinda hesitant with an old game like fc3.
It's somewhat uncharted territory and i don't wanna brick an 1800 buck card.
Edit: Yes it's unlikely, especially for older games but iirc there was some kind of malfunction in the past months where a game literally melted evga MBs (iirc)
Utilization across the board is still at 40% but i average around 200 fos instead of 80 lmao.
For the other guy msi mode is pre-enabled for me, didn't try going line based yet, maybe later when i have time.
