Digital Deluxe Edition - Missing Content

I just reinstalled FC3 but the weapons and missions that come with the Digital Deluxe Edition are missing. I've tried to enter my cd key again but it says that it's already been used (which makes sense, it's mine).

The game loads my lastest save game but the dlc content is just gone.

Wat do?

Erik or zin as he's called here on Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197979414980) has started a petiton aimed at Ubisoft to solve this issue. Head on over here and have a look:

It's kind of sad though, spending hours of time in order to play through less than an hour of semi-decent missions. I wish I had bought the regular edition instead of the deluxe one..

Nothing...I thought there was an update...I closed Far Cry3 after a problem with the fullscreen, the next time I load the game it didn't stop loading, so I stopped it;) and after a restart, all the missing content was available... the thing which changed was under "MyGames\Far Cry 3\GamerProfile.xml", under <UplayProfile LockString="...."
in the past, there stood nothing, now there is a quit long number of letters and numbers... thats defenitly new.

Lol nice ... i did nothing too. Just checked the game now and really every deluxe content is there. I Think Ubisoft or the devs fixed the problem, because i never got a new key.

Time to play ^^

Just delete old saves, new will be downloaded from cloud, with unlocked DLC.

For me it worked although i did not delete or changed anything of Farcry3. Just started the game some minutes ago and deluxe stuff was there ... for me it seems the developers fixed the problem ...

Yeah... the revolver, the M-700 Predator, the Monkey Business mission and even the "Test Unit" mission AFAICT is there (the latter I did NOT redeem). Maybe Ubi just unlocked all Deluxe content for everyone?

Update: The missions (two) are called "Lost Expeditions" on the map. Not sure this is the Redeemable content for 40 Upoints. One called "Prototype Station" (or something) the other "Rocket Silo".

What do I have to do to check if I have the 'Test Unit' mission?

Apparently "Testing Unit" is indeed something else, and still does need to be redeemed. Will do so... should then show up on the map.


Once I redeemed "Testing Unit" via uplay points, it shows up on the North Island, in the very south-east corner of the map. The orangy icon looks just like the ones for the "Lost Expeditions".

Just wanted to report it indeed is FIXED!

I had uninstalled the game but after reading other people here saying it was updated, I reinstalled it and without doing anything else it, I had my Deluxe items.

Well done Uplay, credit where credit is due.

Finally.. That last sale probably pushed them to finally fix it.. can't believe it took them months though. Frustrating experience.

U(shall-not)PLAY finally contacted me and gave me a new key without a proof of purchase!! I'm From the US. Good Luck to Anyone still trying to get a key. Also thx to Kevin my UBISOFT Support he help me through and DID NOT SEND ME Computerized messages.

Finally after a bit of pushing I got my new key to unlock the Deluxe Content, activated it and now playing with all the content unlocked. Everything seem to be as it should be. Holding my thumbs for the rest, the petition will still be up until they have a more permanent solution.

I didnt write to Ubisoft, and like other people here, after yesterdays update, it seems like they have fixed it, without contacting them for a key.
Only a few people reported it working so far, but if everyone following this thread with the same problem, reinstalls the game? and then report in if it is indeed fixed by the update?

So we can verify if a permanant fix is in place or not.

Seems like it auto updates and you should get content without reinstalling
