Another way to find the version number though is to go into the game directory (usually C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/[Game Title] and find the version number of the game executable (sometimes located in the "bin" folder - you might have to do a little searching). You can get this number by right-clicking on the .exe and opening up the properties window, then going to the details tab. Curiously though, the FarCry3 executable properties say it's v. 1.0.1, so perhaps it's not the most reliable method...
Of course, the whole idea behind Steam is that it makes sure all your games are up-to-date, so one should be able to assume (with reasonable certainty) that all their games are the newest version - assuming you have an internet connection, of course.
The problem is in the "Tab" key, choose another key except that one.
I prefer the "+" key.
But first save the game, go to the menu, and then change the key.
Fixed for me.
Fixed my problem 10/10, thanks man
as i mentioned above, i set map to ~, cause the game had hardcoded TAB to something unlisted in the keybind screen.
