I haven't found one, the most effective method I've discovered so far is to run them over with a jet ski. Only takes one hit.

From the surface or any "rock" and boats that allow you to take your weapon out, you can use any guns. Thought the bow, some of the snipers and signature weapons can reach further into the water.

From underwater, you can't use your weapons. While looking for some of the underwater relics, you'll find yourself using and creating lots of healing sering as shard remove around 1.5 bars per bites/attacks.

sharks are extremely stupid, they swim on the surface... hit em' w/ a jet ski at full throttle and watch em' sink... dead.

There is not a weapon you can use underwater, I'd go with the suggestions others are giving and just run them over, or you could use explosives - the most tried and true hunting method of all time.

Nope you can't, sucks, right? I was hoping to just go and wrestle with them like the crocodiles or be able to knife them.
I usually get the patrol boat and when they are visible I hit them with my machine gun then go in and skin 'em.

Best weapon for killing sharks is the bow. Once I got zoology I would partake in bow-fishing, an actual real life pass time FYI, and kill sharks. They are $30 a hide, $60 a pop with the skill. 10 of the is $600, enough to buy explosives, ammo, arrows etc. Beauty of it is they generate so fast non-stop. Pop turtles if you don't see a shark, those are $10 a shell times 2 with skill, it's a good way to relax and get money without doing missions. Be sure to have Fast Swimmer and the breath skill to help in skinning them quickly.
