can i run far cry 3 on a mac
it keeps saying that it cant run on platform what should i do.

Yes I'm running it on my Mac book Pro Retina under Parallels 8 with Windows 8

Using a 3rd Party Virtual Machine with Windows 8 is not verry Efficent your better off using BootCamp: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
But even using BootCamp on an Apple Computer won't run Far Cry 3 well because Apple Computers are not Designed for Heavy games Such as Far Cry 3.

Its seems to be working on my Mac it wouldn't run on my i5 Windows computer

i used wineskin and it worked using directx 9 and vcredist running on macos sierra via windows xp

It's because your Mac had a GPU and a CPU, while the i5 PC only had Intel HD graphics.
