The script I use is simply:
PgUp::WheelUp
PgDn::WheelDown
A: I switch from a 'normal' mouse to mousewheel due to carpal tunnel issues. I'm not going back.
B: While there are trackman with mousewheels (and I have and use one at work where I never use the mousewheel anyway), I don't like mousewheels. I prefer a third real button... partly due to large hands, and partly due to having to move a finger off either the primary or secondary button to use it.
Like some of the other users here, using a Trackman Stationary thats not got a wheel on it. If i had to guess, id almost think that the problem was related to the mouse driver since some people can seem to get it to work and some cant, could be related to windows 8 as well though. Currently im using "Microsoft PS/2 Mouse" under Win7 x64, and having no luck with the following script:
PgUp::WheelUp
PgDn::WheelDown

2014-12-18 - Solution 1 - Installed Better Driver:
Downloaded and Installed Logitech Setpoint SetPoint6.65.62_64.exe from http://support.logitech.com/en_in/product/optical-mouse-ps2
Opened Setpoint software. Clicked to install PS2 driver. Rebooted.
My mouse changed from "Microsoft PS/2 Mouse" to "PS/2 Mouse" and a "Wheel" tab showed up in my mouse settings when one wasn't there before. (This almost seems to be the key element that causes AutoHotKey to allow WheelUp/WheelDown to work in games.)

2014-12-18 - Solution 2 - Added USB Mouse to System:
I plugged a random USB mouse with scroll wheel into my PC. It installed an "HID-Compliant mouse." Just having this mouse installed created a "Wheel" tab in my mouse settings. As long as this mouse was plugged in, AutoHotKey would pass the WheelUp and WheelDown commands to Far Cry 3. Removing the mouse and restarting FC3 caused the game to no longer recognize the script commands in game, even if they still functioned fine outside of the game.

Relevant System Information:
Windows 7 x64
Logitech Trackman Stationary PS2 Trackball
AutoHotKey Script:
PgUp::WheelUp
PgDn::WheelDown
Anyways, plugged in usb mouse with scroll wheel, fixed zooming problem.
also, I have the trackman trackwheel, wired and wireless versions, both have scroll wheels, just never been plugged into the host pc before :o trackball is win
