Sneaking around taking over camps in FC3, finding a nice mountain to glide down, laughing at all the pirates and their burning urinal urethra's. Also a fun story and pretty graphics.
I'd say Just Cause 2 due to the replay value and ability to grapple throw enemies off tall buildings while gliding down with them to watch them bounce. Hah. There is so much chaos to be had, and the grappling hook makes any situation seem more genuine. Add a multiple rope/strong rope mod and it's great fun. To this day, I still enjoy throwing on a podcast and losing myself in the pretty islands of Panau.
The real question is, when are they going to make a Far Cry 3 mod that adds the grappling hook and recastable parachute into our arsenal? A boy can dream...
So my answer is 'both'. :D
It's hard to say one is better than the other, considering they're both very different games, with very different features and game mechanics, but I'd say FC 3 for people who prefer to explore and plan out attacks, and JC 2 for people who prefer lots of fast action and explosive carnage. :D
They're both completely open world, although without checking, I think the JC 2 world might be larger.
FC 3 has some humor in it, certainly it's far more light-hearted than Far Cry 2 in places, but JC 2 doesn't even try to take itself seriously.
get just cause 2... It has jets!
