How to Fix: Far Cry 3 won't launch Uplay.

Heres how:
FC3 Steam Not Launching Uplay Fix
goto Uplay download client install it.
Set steam to run as admin
Set FC3 to run as admin both d3d11 and reg
right click
farcry3_d3d11
and create shortcut
rick click shortcut
select properties
Set Target to: "Driveleter:\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\bin\farcry3_d3d11.exe" "-uplay_steam_mode"
(replace Drive leter with your actualy drive letter: C:\, D:\, E:\, G:\
mod: "-uplay_steam_mode"
The Mod we're using allows steam to run uplay in steam mode.

Okay their seems to be a lot of people reading this thinking it will fix all your problems. You might have the same problem I had IF STEAM WON'T LAUNCH UPLAY. If your UPLAY is launching don't expect my fix to help you.
My fix isn't going to watch your baby, do your taxes, it's not going to upgrade your computers specs so you can play more games. So if your computer was so bad that it couldn't run this game and you still bought it and now your all "Why no work." Maybe you shouldn't be posting your ignorance, in my thread.

This is what worked for me, and I hope it works for you as it has a bunch of people here on steam to get Uplay to launch from steam.

Ok, I finally got the game working. I just can't leave these forums withot leaving my solution to the public, maybe someone will be lucky and manage to fix the problem in the same way.

Basicly I used windows Device Manager to roll back my display driver to last version, and then I got Geforce Experience to install the newest display drivers again. (I'm using an NVIDIA 760 windforce). So my solution was to reinstall the display drivers.

Hope someone will have some luck and find this solution helpful, but DO NOT complaint if it does not work. The only way to fix this problem with almost complete certainaty is through trial and error, just don't mess up your computer in the process.

My problem is not running the game, but with uPlay crashing right after I try to login putting my user name and password.

Did someone else get the same problem?

Mate, that's not the same issue. That's about Far Cry 3 freezing/crashing/hanging or something, this thread is about Uplay not launching and therefore Far Cry 3 not launching either.

Hey, to all of those that bought the collection @ 75% off, the redistributable Uplay Installer is defunct, download the latest one from Uplay itself at http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/orbit/launcher_installer/UplayInstaller.exe . and it should solve any and all problems, from signing in/splash screen freezing, to the Error 2 (newer version already installed) that I kept on having. All of which was infuriating after installing FC3 and Blood Dragon 2-3 times each using a tethered connection. Although the local files will fail to validate (constantly, I might add, and no matter what) they are all there and good, biggest fix is just the new Uplay, which also clocks in ~51mb, double what's in the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Farcry 3\support folder. Good luck, and hope that helps some! (Also, thanks to EternalCore for the lead in the right direction!)

This may help some with connection issues to the Uplay servers not from me but a helpful person from another post it has help a few of my friends.

Does not work, not enough information of where to put shortcut, I have it on the desktop which I can launch the game but Steam and Uplay will not start it up. Even though Steam put it on the hard drive, installed UPlay (UPlay automatically updated) neither will start the game.
