'ShowFPS = 1' -> shows the current frame rate on top right
I got another tip for fps boost, not sure whether it works on other systems though :
Nvidia users download a program called 'nvidia inspector' open it and select far cry 3
in the profiles, once selected , see in Common section -> Vertical Sync , set it to
Force on, click apply and close it.
Now open the game and load your saved file and when in-game, go to options and set
vsync to off -> apply and change it to 1 (not 2) and apply.
As for AMD users, go to your control panel of graphics card settings and do the same.
Now you maybe able to see noticeable increase in fps and no tearing.
Hope this helps
Except you've forced v-sync across all games from then all. And V-sync creates input latency. Unless you know what v-sync actually does and know that you want it, don't follow this advice.
You can right-click and open with Notepad to make changes.
Note: I've also seen once you make your changes, save, right-click > properties and in the General tab, mark the file as "read-only" so the game doesn't overwrite your changes.
You should be able to find the GamerProfile.xml by following this path (as shared above by ChainsawChody!): C:\<User>\Documents\my games\Far Cry 3\GamerProfile.XML
You can then open the file using Notepad to make any tweaks.
If you're still having trouble finding your GamerProfile.xml file, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Thanks!

Just as previously stated, did you have a look at 'Documents' section on your PC to see if you're able to locate it?
If you are having any difficulties, let us know and we will gladly take a closer look!
