i don't have the game in Steam, so i don't know if this will work.
First, close the game.
In Windows 7 go to "C:\Users\YOURUSER\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3" and open the file "GamerProfile.xml".
In the line "<SoundProfile" ( think is the first or second line), you would see a tag named "Language=" located at the end of the line. In my case was "Language=spanish". Change the language to english.
it would see like Language="english". Save the file and run the game.
The Subtitles can be changed in the video options menu of the game.
If the voices dont change to english, try to do this procedure again, i had to do this twice because the first time dont work. Don't forget to close the game to do the change.
Hope this helps and sorry for my terrible english.
Greetings from Argentina

*KEEP A BACKUP OF THE FOLLOWING FILES!!*
all the countrys from the G:\FarCry 3\bin\Resources\ folder, i only left uk in there.
Don't know if it works, but worth a try.
Go to start > run and type in "regedit", press enter
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/wow6432Node/Ubisoft/Far Cry 3/
3. Locate Language, double-click it and change it to "English"
4. Locate SKU, double-click it and change it to "US"
Lykke til! :)
Du må endre språket i steam til engelsk for å kunne ha norsk støttende spill på engelsk ;)
It works for me, since i have the Uplay version.
Origin users should be able to change the language just like you would with Steam.
"I got a little offtopic here, but its useful information :)"
Thanks a lot.. Been annoying me for a while that my Uplay games are in Norwegian.. Didn't do step 4 though.. It just said digital, so i left it and it still worked
- Steam UI set to EN
- game language in steam was set to EN
- win registry was set to "English"
SoundProfile in "GameProfile.xlm" however was set to "Deutsch" still - so following the first post did the trick! Thank you!
