Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this, if you haven' tried:
Verify the Game Files:
Go to your Steam Library, right-click on Far Cry 3, select Properties, then navigate to Local Files and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. This ensures your game files are in sync.
Disable DLC from Steam Settings:
While you’ve already unchecked the DLC, ensure it’s fully disabled by going to the Manage DLC section for Far Cry 3 in your Steam Library.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to Ubisoft Support https://www.ubisoft.com/en-ca/help/contact, as they may have additional solutions or ways to reset your game content to the base version.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions
