How to play High Tides DLC

So Steam dvertises the High Tides DLC but no way to download it. I looked in the Uplay client and was able to purchase it as a free reward. When I click download, it says if you are a steam user, steam will automatically download it, but it doesn't.

Anyone know how to get steam to recognize the DLC?

start game, then Co-op, then Online Co-op, then Private, then Match settings, then if in the list of co-op maps you can see Jailbreak and Redemption - this is your High tides DLC.
