64 Bit?

Is there a 64 Bit version of this game for steam? Whenever I run it, it has the *32 next to it on the task manager, and I can't find a 64bit.exe anywhere, nor can I find any steam patches for it.

It has the *32 bit marker to signify that it is a 32 bit application, that's all. As for a 64bit version of the game.... Probably not.

As far I know almost all games are 32 bit only. Apparently developers haven't found the need of using more than 2GB of ram.

There actually are several games that are 64-bit & can actually use 4GB of RAM. However most of those have only been released in the last two years. There are still more game released as 32-bit at this time, but more & more 64-bit games are being released every month. Most of those games actually have both 32-bit & 64-bit modes & they detect your system at launch.

But they are really not that many.
Maybe now that we have the next-gen with those stupidly high resolutions we will start seeing more of that since it will be required.
