Ziggy's Mod feathers?

I recently got the Ziggy's Mod for Far Cry 3... and to craft a few things it says you need feathers. This wasn't in the vanilla FC3. How the hell do I get feathers?

I'm struggling with this as well, actually. And to those saying "just kill birds", well it doesn't work that way. Apparently only black crows drop feathers. I've tried shooting seagulls and parrots or whatnot, doesn't work. And I can't seem to find any crows.. any tips??

The best way to get feathers is near dead bodys of natives.
why? well, vultures do circle almost everytime above those.

seagulls and paradise-birds don't drop feathers, crows and vultures do.

i don't think this will work.
some natives are just dead on the ground already, if you see one, heads up.

I usually find vultures citcling around radio towers and high areas, so you could look there

same here, after outpost capture, the raven of falks or whatever bird it it, came to pirate corpse.

Vultures give feathers. Near the coast sometimes you see three of them circling (I found a trio between Valsa Docks and the Poker place, in the northwest). Shoot one with a shotgun or an assault rifle and pay attention to where it falls. The other two will continue circling regardless of the shooting, so you have three chances. ;-)

Omg thank you, been looking for hours before I caved in and looked it up and came across this. I don't care how 'old' this post was it helped me find Feathers so it was worth it. As long as people are still plying and still asking these questions then these discussions are still current and valid. A very big thank you.
