How to close out of the game?

So I launched the game for the first time and I logged into Uplay and entered the code, everything was okay. So I started playing a bit and then I exited the game and exited Uplay. I then realized that steam says I'm still play Far Cry 3 and I have not clue why it says that, both far cry 3 and Uplay are both closed.

Help!

Ctrl + alt + del > task manager > processes then just close out of uplay and fc3

They're both closed, I already tried that.

I know it says you're in-game when you leave the Uplay launcher open, it should stop when you close it.

Just kill it in task manager like the above posters say. This happens sometimes with Windows - a process will keep running even though it's "closed".

Oh, and are you sure you're not running multiple instances of Far Cry 3? This happened to me once or twice.

restart the computer. from here on, if you want to play fc3, launch steam. then launch Uplay. start game from uplay. when you close the game, it should be fine

It's all good, I just closed steam via task manager, steam wouldn't close by itself due to it thinking the game is running. Thanks for your help, if it happens again, I know what to do.
