How to switch to tribal knife?

Hey guys, I've played about 14 hours or so of this game and realized that I still haven't used the tribal knife. I own the deluxe edition but I don't see the knife in game. From what I've read there is supposed to be a melee option in the store but I don't have melee in my store. What do I do?

HMM? It should show up in stores under melee after you activate your first radio tower.

Do you have the Steam Deluxe Edition or the Steam base game plus the Deluxe DLC Bundle? If it's the Deluxe DLC bundle, I think you have to activate the DLC's in the main menu under Exclusive content. If so, you will have more than one CD key. If you have the Steam Deluxe Edition, there is only one key and your DLC's are already activated.

To make sure your DLC's are activated, first do you have the M-700 predator sniper rife available in stores? You get that with the DLC's. Second, Do you see the map icons for the Lost Expeditions and Monkey Business DLC's? The LE DLC icons are a Orangish Brown spiral map icon and the Monkey business icons are a monkeys head.

You may change your knife in shop. if you find enough of some artifacts or letters, you can also get japanese katana. Both deal more damage than normal knife.

That's what it was! I got the Deluxe DLC Bundle. I put in the key in the exclusive content menu and it unlocked the content. I did not know I had to do that lol. Thanks for the help! =)

It's actually a tanto, becuase a katana would be ridiculous to use as a knife.
