\exit Steam
right click on your steam desktop icon
select properties
select advanced
check the box that says Run As Administrator
select OK twice to exit
(DO the same thing for your Uplay )
then try to launch your game
this is an Important Step that may be needed to give Administrative rights to your games and software in Windows 10 , it may also Apply for Windows 7 , and 8 as well depending on your Windows account settings
are you runniung the up to date version of Uplay ? you can get it here https://uplay.ubi.com
what operating system are you using ?
Windows 10, i got to the gamer profile, but i cant seem to edit it, to change the autosave to 0, how would i go about doing that. thank you so much btw
also did you install the Windows 10 fall update ? if so check all of your drivers .. i myself had to reinstall both my Video as well as Audio drivers after the Windows 10 fall update ..it is not just an update it is practically like a new OS install
also open Uplay go in the settings disable the Uplay Cloud save sync option
trust me you do not want that setting on , if the cloud save gets corrupted it can seroiusly screw up your game
also if your gameing on a laptop with Intel Video , Intel Video chips are NOT supported by Far Cry 3 ..they may have worked before with low settings with previous versions of Windows but they may not work with Windows 10 and the current Intel Default drivers
same is true with Realtek Audio drivers
with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
just loaded it ..it is working normally i will go boot the laptop and check that too on Windows 10 home 64 bit
There's too many ppl here on Steam and Ubisoft with this problem. FTR, I also have Windows 10 64bit running with 2-Way SLI Titan X. This PC also has a fresh install of W10 64bit.
