Game stuck on saving logo!
So I am playing the game on hard, first playthrough. And I intend to save a lot. So when trial and error just happens to be the only way to finish a game on said difficulty. I tried to save the game on the menu screen, only to find it saves . . .saves . . .saves. The logo, top right of screen, stays on very longer than any save should take. I can exit the menu screen, and the logo still shows it saving. So I go back to the menu and click save again. Says "Cannot save during autosave. . ." Something something. So when I eventually die, the game Freezes entirely. Anyone have this problem. Kind of ruining the game for me.

I have the same problem, how did you solve this problem?

Well I did edit the GamerProfile.xml in the My Games-folder. There is that autosave-parameter. Change it from 1 to 0. Then you have only manual saving and the ''flashing'' is gone. Make sure, that you put the file to Read Only-mode, before starting to play!

...Seriously, run as admin. This should ALWAYS be the first go-to thing when "troubleshooting" issues.

What do you mean "run as admin". How do you run it as admin?

\exit Steam

right click on your steam desktop icon

select properties

select advanced

check the box that says Run As Administrator

select OK twice to exit

(DO the same thing for your Uplay )

then try to launch your game

this is an Important Step that may be needed to give Administrative rights to your games and software in Windows 10 , it may also Apply for Windows 7 , and 8 as well depending on your Windows account settings

did you install the updated version of Uplay ?

also did you install the Windows 10 fall update ? if so check all of your drivers .. i myself had to reinstall both my Video as well as Audio drivers after the Windows 10 fall update ..it is not just an update it is practically like a new OS install

also open Uplay go in the settings disable the Uplay Cloud save sync option

trust me you do not want that setting on , if the cloud save gets corrupted it can seroiusly screw up your game

also if your gameing on a laptop with Intel Video , Intel Video chips are NOT supported by Far Cry 3 ..they may have worked before with low settings with previous versions of Windows but they may not work with Windows 10 and the current Intel Default drivers

same is true with Realtek Audio drivers

It's definetly a ubisoft problem, regardless of if you got it to work. lol.
There's too many ppl here on Steam and Ubisoft with this problem. FTR, I also have Windows 10 64bit running with 2-Way SLI Titan X. This PC also has a fresh install of W10 64bit.
