Far Cry Save Not Deleting.

I want to start a new game, and my save lists are full. Everytime I go and delete it, it comes back. Is anyone else having this problem? I bought the game two days ago. Anyone out there know how to fix this?

you can manually delete your save files IF you shut off the u play cloud save setting in the u play client

your saves are on your hard drive in your C program files X 86 / ubisoft /ubisoft game launcher / saved games / *a folder with numbers and letters differs between systems* / 46

Where can I find this Uplay client? I only have Far Cry 3 on Uplay and have no experience using it.

its on your hard drive .. if you installed far cry 3 you had to install u play

open u play

on my windows 7 machine i click my windows start button then u play

when u play opens ........look for the settings

looks like a little gear on the upper right hand side of the u play Client program ...click it

select settings

select general

make sure that Enable cloud save Sycronization is unchecked



other things you may want to change in there are start u play in offline mode in case you wanna play just single player only all the time .. in case the u play service is DOWN

also make sure there are not settings enabled like use a proxy server to connect under network i have nothing checked in there ....

you can also clik other settings in the u play client to enable the game to save screen shots when you press a key

after you make all of your changes in there ..select save and close the u play client


next go to your
C :\ program files X 86 / ubisoft /ubisoft game launcher / saved games / *a folder with numbers and letters differs between systems* / 46

delete the contents of that folder (or back that folder up to another location like a usb thumb drive if you want to manually keep a back up of your old saved games )

then open steam and ... start Far Cry 3

your game will begin again at the beggining again with NO saved games when you select NEW GAME

and trust me you want that cloud save setting OFF

it totally F U C K E D me over once when the cloud save server corrupted my saved game when i was 50% thru the game ..i was forced to delete my saved games and shut that setting to off and was forced to start the game at the beggining again loseing all my progress

keeping it off will not afftect your game in any way your saves will stay on YOUR hard drive where they belong ...
