Is it possible to reset/earn achievements again?

I want play again and get Steam achievements but unlocked all in Uplay long time ago. Now every time i start game all achievements unlock in Steam(used SAM to reset and it worked until i start game).

No, i inquired about this exact thing on the far cry 4 forum. You can use SAM to reset achievement gain, but because your achievements are also tracked by Ubisofts launcher, the achievements will pop again regardless because Ubisoft connect is required to start before you can play the game.

Edit: It's unfortunate, because i wanted to play farcry 3 through 5 again, but grinding for the achievements. Ubisoft unfortunately didn't take the few people like me into account when retroactively adding the achievements to steam years later.

If you create new account, you need buy another copy of game. Because you need o link steam game to ubi account.

Thanks, this sucks :/, i played FC3 10 years ago, it would be nice to play again with achievements.
When i installed game i needed to log in to Uplay and enter cd-key(dont have key in Steam, i was wtf where i get this key). Closed game, opened again and somehow it worked(didnt enter key) and accounts were linked. Downloaded Uplay and there i can see FC3 cd key.
Probably needed to link accounts again because im not played any Ubisoft game through Steam 10 years.

Now its too late but if i knew this before, id try install Uplay look key, then install FC3 Steam, make new Uplay account and enter key, but im pretty sure it wouldnt work but who knows :P

FortunatelyI/unfortunately i only have FC3 so if i buy other FC game i dont have this issue :P

Yep. I'm in the same boat. Wanted to install and play through the games again but then moment the game started- Bam! All achievements unlocked. As mentioned before SAM isn't much help in this case either. Guess I won't play through them again after all...

Your key from Uplay would not work on the new account, because it was already used on your first account.

Make sense, even if it wasnt linked to my Steam account it is linked Uplay account.

Looks like only "solution" is to make new Steam account*, buy FC3, make new Uplay account but i definitely dont want/need achievements so badly :D

*Steam "remove game permanently" feature is pretty much just hide game :p

Why the obsession with achievements? Just replay the game because you like it.

Players have different reasons why they want achievements.
Personally i like achievements because(if done right) can enhance game. Do things or visit places i otherwise dont.
