Achievements Question
As achievements recently been added to the game, im not an achievements hunter but sometime also do collect the achievement. Just curious now, well probably i will get clown award for this lol

After you finish the game and all the achievements, will you keep playing it or revisit to play the game again at some point or just move on to another game ?

It's a game you will replay in a few years after beating, So long as ubisoft launcher is operational. it's a Very good and fun game that kicked off this franchise essentially. Personally I think it's the best story as well.

I am an achievement hunter but because I want to 100% all the games I like to play, and I squeeze the max fun the game can bring to me until there is all done.

I use to move to other games after that, but some games like this are special. Literally Far Cry 3 rocketed the franchise, and afterwards all the Far Cry games where FC3 copies, improved or lowered, but FC3 copies after all.

So yeah, maybe not right now (because there is new things to play nowadays) but def FC3 is a pleasure to revisit.

I don't normally revisit a game once I've had my fun with it after getting all of the achievements. There are some rare exceptions of games I continue to play after, since I find that achievements "normally" make you experience all a game has to offer. That's just how I do things though.

An example is that I had to replay Persona 3 Reload about two extra times to finish the achievements and while I absolutely love the game, I have no intention of going back to it anytime in the near future. Far Cry 3 is similar, I have done it twice on Xbox ages ago and will give it one last send off on Steam.

I think i beat this game like 2~3 times since i bought years ago, i will probably try to hunt the achievements next time i play it.

I usually replay games that are fun, sometimes for achievements or just for fun. I do the same with a lot of other games.
i have some coop achievements , and for me isn't unlocking on steam. I start to replay the game again from 2015 and try to do all the achievements but for me didn't work
i have 36 of 44 on uby connect

currently an issue where Achievements won't unlock if you have gotten ubisoft coop or multiplayer achievements. They are fixing it now. Just keep an eye out for their announcements

nah I dont think I will revisit the game - there are only some kind of games which I often replay but this not and I am still someone who likes to collect achievements
Revisited the game which quickly reminded me of the thing about it that I really hated. The timed missions. Shut it down and not going back.

Yes, I got platinum on this game on PS3 a while back and I plan to get 100% achievements here on PC again since they added achievements for it. It was a fun game for me that was worth playing to get 100%. Not too grindy or annoying compared to a lot of open world games. Fun gameplay and story as well

Anybody knows if you get the achievements form your Ubisoft connect savegame if you load the steam version?! Or do you have to play it again?
I downloaded the game and started it, all the achievements i had on ubisoft unlocked immediately.
Now i collect the missing ones.

I was hoping for that.. thanks for the info
The literal only reason I'm playing is for the achievements.

For some genius reason, the PC version is treated as a different game than the console version so even if you log in to the same Ubisoft account you had to use for the console version, it only counts progress earned on PC. Otherwise I'd have 100% it just from the first launch. It makes sense, of course, but it's still stupid.

Fortunately due to the multiplayer not working at all, you don't have to do the god awful co op achievements, the only difficult ones I was missing. The rest of them are easy. I have 14 to go and I'll be promptly uninstalling it forever after that. At least all the other FC games work correctly.

They got rid of the co op achievements because they deleted the multiplayer. Thankfully. They were the worst achievements in the game not because they were difficult but because the game was fundamentally broken and they were entirely reliant on luck.

For those not aware, the co-op was peer to peer matchmaking and the only way to get credit for a co-op campaign was to be there from the very beginning when the host launched it, survive the entire campaign, and be there until the end when the host closed the game after you completed the campaign. If you joined even a half second in to the intro cutscene, you didn't get credit. If the host disconnected or lagged out, if you lagged out, if you died, no credit. God. Awful. Achievement. Design.

There's a reason so few people have the co op achievements.
