Bow vs Black panther...

That was the worst part of the 'Path of the hunter'. That stupid bow basically shoots jelly beans and deals no damage vs panther... It took me like good 5-10 minutes to kill that annoying ♥♥♥♥♥... Way too fast and deals enormous damage. Too bad I had no syringes that time.

even with syringes it takes an effort to kill that bastard, tried it without the perk of taking reduced damage from animals, i got lucky he got stuck for a good 3 or 4 shoots on one of the many tries

There was a trick.

I went on the big metal tower which was near the zone, 100 meters or so.
I got my position in the first floor, so the black panther couldn't get me.
From there, i could kill it easily as it was waiting for me :)

That's what I ended up doing. It's ridiculous how unbalanced some of the predator animals are in this game.

You guys do realize you dont have to use the said weapon in the actual hunt, right? You have to pick up the said weapon to activate it, but you can kill the animal with a knife. Works everytime, trust me.

Just make sure you have something stronger than the default knife you are given and the black panther should go down in 2 or 3 strikes, which you deal rather quicky. You may have little health left, but it takes the annoying factor out when you have to chase down the damn thing.

-Get the Tanto by getting the Japanese letters
-Find a panther and choose a good spot to shoot from
-When he charges use the knife.

It is dumb how unbalanced the game is, i will admit. Arrow to the face of a pirate and he's dead, arrow to the face of a bear, tiger, or panther and nothing happens.

people found path of the hunter hard? dispite how they will rip through entire convoys of armed soldiers, animals are not a threat to the player once you are well equiped.
