What's the difference between "Missions" and "Story Quests"?
I'm just getting started with this game, having just finished the mushrooms section with Dr Eindhart. I've noticed in the handbook's completion page that there are two particular items: Missions and Story Quests.

What is the difference between these? I apparently have about 5 of 38 missions completed, but none of 14 story quests. I'm guessing this missions are being completed as I progress through the main story, as all the other little quests (Outposts, Path of the Hunter, etc.) have their own items in the handbook. But then what are story quests?

Yes, I get what the different types of quests and their rewards are. I'm saying that if you look at the Progress page of the Handbook, it lists both "Missions" and "Story Quests". I'm wondering what the difference between those is.

the story quests have nothing to do with the main storyline in the game....just different characters all with a small story that you become a part of. Money is the reward.
