Driver: Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 < unsupported graphics card
yes i know you have a GT920 M thats also a low end entry level GPU
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-920M.138763.0.html
but it looks like the game is not switching over .. have you tried the new Notebook driver from Nvidia ?
or even the most recent driver ?
did you open your Nvidia control panel and make sure you have Set Far Cry 3 to use your Nvidia GPU ?
also have you gone in Nvidia control panel and under manage 3 d settings global
set the power management mode to Prefer maximum performance ?
your on a laptop man , they set the video to run slower on those GPU's so they do not eat alot of power plus they tend to heat up and do not have the cooling that a desktop card has
and many times Windows will set your power setting too low to conserve on power , since your laptop has a battery .. even if it is plugged in it may still be set up to a lower perfomance state
additionally in the system requirements for the game even say Laptop video cards are not supported https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/FAQ/9/2590/system-requirements-for-far-cry-3/kA030000000eTK5CAM
next we come to
MSI Afterburner 4.2.0 < yes that will cause the game to crash see this page
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/739489-PC-Win7-8-vista-Solutions-gt-Far-Cry3-Has-Stopped-Responding
Solution 4:
1. Disable/Close any Overlay or DirectX Hooking software before launching the game.
The Following list of overlay/hooking Programs are known to interfere with Far Cry 3:
Fraps(overlay fps display)
Xfire
Team Speak
Mumble
Steam Overlay(read below if you don't know how to disable this one)
Evga Precision X
Gigabyte OC Guru I & II
ASUS GPU Tweak
ASUS Smart Doctor
Gamer OSD
MSI Afterburner
MSI kombuster < -------- see right here ????
Evolve Client( https://www.evolvehq.com/client )
so exit any and all backround applications before you try to play the game
plus with your low end GPU you may only be able to run the game in lower resolutions with low settings , and please do not try to tell me that a 920 M is a great GPU for gameing , it's not...... and thats a FACT
GK208 is based on the Kepler architecture and offers two shader blocks, called SMX, each with 192 shaders for a total of 384 shader cores. The shaders are clocked at the same speed as the rest of the chip. Furthermore, the GK208 chip has 16 TMUs and 8 ROPs on a 64-bit memory interface.
Performance
The GeForce 920M offers a performance similar to the AMD Radeon R7 M260 or R7 M360 and will handle modern games (as of 2014/2015) in low settings only. For comparison, a GeForce 930M is about 20 to 30 percent faster than the 920M.
try the New Nvidia driver they released for their M series GPU's or get your Drivers from your laptop manufacturer , as it may be your optimus laptop is not kicking off of your Intel GPU on your chipset and allowing your Nvidia GPU to run the game
Intel chipsets are not supported by Far Cry 3 , tho they may work with really low settings
on some system (i have no idea why anyone would game on one )
also if your Using Windows 10 N or K versions (these are available in the EU ) you may need to install the Media pak so that your DX and visual C++ as well as .net framework files are updated , you can find that here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48231
also if you installed win 10 as an Upgrade that some times comes with problems and your better off performing a clean install of your operating system and all of your drivers and software
but if i were you i'd try a differnt video Driver
and better windows 10 drivers are out now .. the initail Win 10 drivers from Nvidia were horrid
and many users with mobile chipsets had the same problem .. their Intel HD video would not switch over to allow the Nvidia GPU to kick in
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/900924/geforce-drivers/geforce-hotfix-driver-359-12-for-geforce-860m-notebook-gpus-released-12-2-15-/
they did put out a new driver to fix that .. but i think those fixes are now in the latest driver
contact Nvidia support to find out if your card is supported and if you need a differnt driver
same with Far Cry 4
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1012250-Afterburner-Farcry-4-Crash!?s=1fed64ed24f4285fb31138dc951ef78d
thats maybe why your other games work fine .. they don't have a problem with Afterburner and riva tuner statistics server settings
the latest far cry games want all the video power and vid ram you can shove at em
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1012250-Afterburner-Farcry-4-Crash!?s=1fed64ed24f4285fb31138dc951ef78d
if your not useing the Steam overlay.. disable it in Steam settings \ ingame
if your not useing the Uplay overlay in game... disable it in Uplay settings \ General
try running the game with nothing else running on your system in the backround
it may be as simple as one program your running is a 3d hook that will not allow the game to launch normally
and check your settings in WINDOWS 10 since i just saw you have a realtek audio card
make sure you shut off tablet services if once you get in the game it crashes every few min
see this thred
