The game keeps getting stuck

What I mean by this is, I dealt with the whole staying on the first loading screen and I went offline on Uplay and that fixed that THEN I got stuck on waiting to be connected screen and I turned off my internet connection and made sure I was offline on steam that worked NOW right when I start playing and go to the menu screen it gets stuck and says trying to connect to a server (this might an internet issue but I will soon see bc I am reinstalling the game right now)

So my main issue is that I don't like having to turn off everything including my internet to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, and I thought that whole thing would be a one time deal but no it isn't. I would have to go through the steps everytime I want to play the game. Is there anyway to not have to start up the game this way? (btw I am on Windows 7)

post your full Steam System info .. this helps ! .. thanks !

look up top in steam look for where it says Help (right above the word LIBRARY)

clik on that (it will open a drop down menu)

then clik system information

let that load , only takes a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that

then select all

then right clik again select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

also try running Steam as an Administrator and verify your game files

To verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..exit Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Administrator
launch Steam

go to your Steam games library

right clik on far cry 4

select properties

select local files

select verify Integrity of game cache

it takes a few min to do but its faster the redownloading your entire game , if its only a few files that were corrupt or installed incorrectly ....

also try reduceing the number of overlays your running

if you dont use the Steam overlay in games simply go to your steam settings / IN Game and uncheck the box that says enable Steam overlay , same with the u play client ..

and also try to reduce the number of Backround applications you may be running with Windows start up as they may be eating system resources the game wants to use

OK I verified the intergrity game cache and it seemed to work then I tried loading up the game and now this comes up: failed to execute command:farcry3_d3d11.exe (error 740)

Do you know how I can fix this?

and dunno what you mean by latest version of STEAM

there are TWO latest version......... the Standard Versions and a Beta
Standared version is

what vid card are you running is this a laptop or a desktop ?

if its a laptop it may be you have a very low R 9 200 series card that this game does not support like an R 9 230 what is your exact card model ?

and have you tried the AMD beta Drivers that were just released ?

just taking a guess but i see you have this installed
D3DX10 <this i belive is acually a 32 bit version of Direct X you may want to remove it and reinstall 64 bit Direct X runtimes since you are in fact useing a 64 bit version of Windows

64 bit Direct X files ? you can find them in your program files X 86 Steam / steam apps / common / Far Cry 3 / support folder

you mean your backround applications ? well suit yourself .. some may interfere with the game

the game needs as many system resources as you can give it ..most gamers Know this and exit out of everything they are not using to play games

you dont have to follow every tweak he mentions but yes some do HELP

and YES consider using the AMD beta drivers as they did fix many issiues with games with the 15.9 beta drivers
