Far Cry 3 keep closing immediately after opening it [SOLVED]

Whenever I try to open it it just immediately closes, I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling,but it didn't work. I have played it a couple days ago and didn't have this issue until now, now all of a sudden it just won't launch.

Does anyone know why it happens and what I can do to fix it?

Update: I finally fixed it, I had to open fileexplorer and go to /This PC/Documents/My Games/Far Cry 3 and delete "GamerProfile". This was because my GamerProfile was corrupted and deleting it and starting the game again will create a new noncorruped GamerProfile. Also you won't lose progress by doing this.

I'm having a simmilar issue, but it opens only until reaching a loading...then in the mid of the loading process it simply crashes and closes itself. I am nnotincing a lot of people reporting very close situations, and commenting that it didnt happen in 2023 or some more problems related to the cursed Ubisoft Connect. I could play normaly in another computer which the game had been installed for at least 2 years, so I figured the reason it worked fine there was from being an earlier installation before whatever is happening now... I installed it yesterday at the system I'm using now and still cannot figure a way to fix it.

I don't know if it's a current update issue, I just downloaded for the first time since I played on PS3 and it worked perfectly.

Holly molly ♥♥♥♥ shenannigan... look at this 'to do' list... I can't take this kind of thing anymore,
I guess I should just stick to another game ( btw the post is almost from when the game first released, it even talks about 'uplay' ) * pretending I'll not obcessively try this when not sleepy *
ps: I get the feeling that if I just downloaded from fit amelie polain girl I'd not have any of these issues

Hey man, I was just fixing the same issue, Follow this guide for another game but just change "childoflight.exe" for your far cry 3 exe and it works!
