FAR CRY 3 !!! - HOW TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER & COOP ONLINE AND ALSO VIA RADMIN - GUIDE

(date where tested, and MP and Coop work 27.11.2023)

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Latest test my original game in 10.9.2024
Unfortunately in spring 2024 has been closed again offiacial ubisoft master servers so this my guide no longer will work till them again Ubisoft turn on. Probably Ubisoft will never do it again because simply their business to support new games and not older. Im carefuly watching for situation and if happend and Ubisoft servers will again ON i will here all inform about it.
So in present 10.9.2024 havent sense to folow this my guide below.

This is 1st person fps game released for many different platforms.
Game far Cry 3 Have amazing multiplayer and also such great coop up to 4 players to play simultaneously.

!!!!!! HOW TO PLAY ONLINE !!!!!!

NOTE: Very important know, game will playable on servers NOT via RADMIN, but via official Ubisoft Connect(Uplay) servers. Radmin is need only for invitation to game. Without him u cant invite nobody to game if you bought original game in Steam store. And the same for Ubisoft Connect (uplay) buyers if want play with Steam game buyers.


MY GUIDE IS ONLY FOR ORIGINAL PC VERSION OF GAME FAR CRY 3!!!!
Singleplayer and multiplayer and cooperation should be work without problems for those who BOUGHT THE GAME DIRECTLY IN UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay). In such case you bought game directly in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and working for you this UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) service you dont need do STEP 1 below (Its mean you not need download and copy to game nothing). In case you cant also connect to UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) - Multipalyer and Coop functions and you bought game in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) you can try also STEP 1 below.

Note:
If you bought game in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and you joined in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) Mp, coop service BUT you cant join nobody in MP and Coop loby you need do STEP 2.



FOR THOSE WHO BOUGHT GAME FAR CRY 3 IN STEAM NEED DO ALL DESCRIBED BELOW:
( You should be know that Steam, after has been released Far Cry 3 classic for console, decide after 5+ years to do update in Steam. Latest update is 1.06 but this update cant alow you play online anymore. So you need downgrade game to previos version 1.05 as you seen on video below the man also conected to multipalyer with this version.

STEP 1: PREPARE YOUR GAME FOR PLAY COOP AND MULTIPLAYER:

A) YOU NEED DOWNLOAD this zip file:

B) After download unzip him to your game directory
Any HDD/SSD\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\bin
All files which contains zip file copy to ,,bin,, directory of your Original Steam Far Cry 3 game.
Overwrite old files by new files.

In Far Cry 3 bought in STEAM cant join nobody (for me such work) even sent you invitation in game like friend in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay). And nobody can join your create game in MP and in Coop as well. If happend for you, you need do this STEP 2.


STEP 2:

First you need install Ramin VPN network (if you already not did)
A) Radmin download:

B) After install Radmin restart PC (strongly recommended even you think program work normaly). Restart PC after install Radmin - You need to do only 1 time.

C) Turn on Radmin and go to in menu ,,Network,, then ,,Conenct to network,, and then choose ,,Gaming Network,,. And in gaming network search network rooms CALLED EXACTLY:




Far Cry 3




When you joined the Radmin VPN gaming network above you can start game Far Cry 3.
Start your far Cry 3, then you choose create MP, Coop game or join MP, Coop game.
In case you creating MP, Coop game to could other join you, YOU HAVE TO HAVE people which want play with you in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) friendly list !!!!!! Only such you can invite people to play. Without have people in friendly list you want play in your UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) you cant play with nobody.
So create game, invite friends via friendlist in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and play. Remember have always turn on Radmin and be with people you want play in the same network.
Thats all.

Strogly recomended for those who want play multipalyer to add to your friendlist in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) anyone who can to play multiplayer. Too more players you have in your friendly list too more chance to be someone online to play with you and too more chance those people will have also friends which they also invite to game. If all will keep such behavior will always enought players to play multiplayer.

Note:
Im all tested in 26 and 27.11.2023. Im tested on two PC with original Far Cry 3 was bought in Steam. All tested PC were conected via same internet provider.

BUG:
Knowing bug - Sometimes you cant join friend in Private Coop game even you have him added in friend list in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and you have him in the same Radmin network, and even if happened in the same day when it was worked earlier for you and your friend which cant join now.

HOW FIX THE BUG:
Exists many ways how to fix it. I will describe 3 the most easier possibilities how to fix.
Point A:
If you are sure that your friend sent you invitation to game and you got not any, try it repeat invitation and also you like receiver of invitation try leave friend list lobby and go back. Try 3 times it, should be appear possibility, if you click by mouse on your friend in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay), which created game lobby to appear, ,,join game,,. I happend so join.

Point B:
If you did many times Point A and nothing happend leave game at all, and Steam and UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) platforms as well. Also turn Off your Radmmin. Then Turn ON Radmin first, then turn ON Steam and final turn ON UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay). Then you, or your friend create Private Coop lobby. He have to send you invitation then go to friendly list in game and click on your friend and there should be appear possibility ,,join game,,. If not happened repeat point A.

Point C:
If not help Point A and B you will have to uninstall game Far Cry 3. Turn off Radmin, then Restart PC. After download and install game Far Cry 3 again. After install game turn of Steam and do STEP 1 (copy fixed files to your ,,bin,, folder in game), and then start RADMIN whith connected any common network with your friend. Final turn on Steam and UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and start game. If something repeat Point A.

HOW ONLINE PLAY, IF YOU BOUGHT GAME FAR CRY 3 IN UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay), OR IN STEAM - ALL VARIANTS !!!!

Results my test (29.11.2023):

1) Who bought Far Cry 3 in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay) and want play Far Cry 3 with who bought game in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay)

Can possible play whole MULTIPLAYER AND COOP in Original Far Cry 3 WITHOUT use Radmin with all people which bought original game in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay).
NOTE:
A) Only if you want HAVE ACCESS TO MORE PLAYERS and Want play with stranger/s or friend/s which bought original game in Steam you HAVE TO ALWAYS TURN ON Radmin, and be in network CALLED EXACTLY: Far Cry 3 Then you can play with strangers in Multiplayer game called ,, QUICK MATCH,, and also you can play ,,PUBLIC COOP,, with strangers. Multiplayer ,,QUICK MATCH,, and ,, PUBLIC COOP you can play with Steam users without need to them in friendlist in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay).
Play,,CUSTOM MULTIPLAYER MATCH,, and ,,PRIVATE COOP,, you can play with Steam users only if you are in Radmin in network CALLED EXACTLY: Far Cry 3 and also you HAVE TO HAVE them in friendly list in UBISOFT CONNECT (Uplay).
B) All who bought game in Steam need download and put the fix zip file Im talk in STEP 1 above in guide.

For all versions common if you want play ranked servers in Multiplayer (wh ere your progress going up + day challenges and so on) you need at minimum 5 people to start game.

Yo Bud, I can redirect you to the Post of **70 MB Update on the FC3 Community Discussion**. And yet, I can confirm too that I get the message of "Cannot connect to Ubisoft servers" via the version 1.05 of the game. Fun thing and hopefully Ubisoft didn't shut down their servers.

Confirmed! Ubisoft implemented that in Uplay vers. Now it's also 1.06, like in Steam = deleted MP and online in-game services(you cannot open Ubiconnect by pressing Shift + F2 anymore). I think, multiplayer still works on fc3 v1.05. But need to wait, maybe community release workaroung for that game, like it was done for Splinter Cell Conviction & Blacklist on PC. Ppl saying that console versions still work without any issues, and MP/COOP as well

Since 5/3/2024 Stoped work Ubisoft support master servers again. So all those what im wrote working, like downgrading game even after the new around 70 mb Steam update. Problem is that Ubisoft stoped work master servers 5.3.2024. So Ubisof buyers of game and also Steam buyers are not longer able play online (coop, MP) even via Radmin which was used only for inviting to game for Steam buyers, but finaly play was on Ubisoft master servers. Ubisoft still in past turn off servers before 1,5 year for PC and then after without publicly anounced turn him ON for 6 months till 5.3.2024. But, who know maybe they decide turn ON them again in future. It need to watching around and if will Ubisoft do it, to tell others about. I hope we will able again play this game online in future. As for me Far Cry 3 is the best game from whole Far Cry series.
