Far Cry 3 just will not launch

I just built a PC, I have already ran and played the game for 3+ hours on it... well the next day I try to launch it and it will just not launch for no apparent reason. It is only this game, every other steam game launches fine I felt like I have tried everything
gamepad issue
clearing steam cache
uninstalling reinstalling
checking for windows updates
antivirus issues
restarting PC
making sure hardware is up to date
windows command checking for files.
etc etc etc
I have noticed when I verify game files it says that 89 files have been found corrupt and it says it fixed them with a 9 GB update but then when I go to launch after it is finished it just does the same thing...
Anyone have any ideas???

The verify game files is deleting the files. Its a bug of some kind. Download the files again and don't verify game files again until you hear that Ubisoft has fixed this issue.

Years ago I had issues with this game where it never loaded where I kept getting a Not Responding thing and when I upgraded my laptop to a faster one due to other means, I expected FC 3 to work and it still never with the same caper. That problem was with Ubisoft and they left me feel as if I was sucking wind. Some others back then had the same issue with FC 4 when I never. It's weird all this. Trying to get those problems sorted is as hard as trying to fart in a wetsuit.

Hi guys.

How does it make the game not start noticeable?
For me it was the splash screen and that's where it got stuck.

Same issue. I played for days then 3 days ago, after a windows update, it happened. 89 corrupted files and the games doesn't lunch anymore

Download the files again and don't verify game files because if you do it'll happen again..

Hello! I have a bit different problem.
Can not find any CD key for the FC3 or FC4 after installed (bought 3 days ago within the big sale).
Uplay said:
"there was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product. Please contact customer support if you need help in solving this problem"

Did anyone meet this before?

I had that issue once. It was from me not being able to confirm my email since my old one was deleted. I had to get submit a ticket and I was able to update my email.

Nope, all I did was attempt to launch it and it worked after a few days of it not working.
