How do I install Far Cry 3 with the disc?

Sorry, the prompt brought back some memories. Please accept my apologies for posting this question on Steam. With all the games I have and knowing the amount of gamers here I thought the collective knowledge of the community would offer the most positive outcome.

Anyways, I had Far Cry 3 installed on my Windows 10 PC. I then had a HDD die forcing me to reinstall this game. Upon inserting the disc all I see is configure storage or explore files. When I click on explore I was expecting to find some sort of install .exe. I did not. I KNOW for a fact I installed this from the disc the first time I installed this on my Windows 10 PC. Now I can't :(. I now only see https://postimg.org/image/49le8igab/ .

In my defense I did contact EA but the rep. was no help. The only step he would offer is if you can't install it with the disc you have to download it. Not everybody has unlimited bandwidth.

you cant install a dvd version and have it be up to date on a 4 yr old game

the latest version is newer then the DVD version

as is Uplay

also you can contact EA all ya want ..EA has nothing to do with a Ubisoft game

if you already had the game on your Uplay account its still there

if ya bought the game via origin \ EA you still had to make a uplay account

if you know your Uplay login and password

just download the latest version of Uplay from the uplay web page

install it \ login ..then DL your game via Uplay

if you lost your account info ....your boned ...... you have to contact Ubi support

yes your game is tied to the e mail addy and password you used when you activated the game

STEAM works the same way ..if you log in to another steam account .. no your games are not there

Origin works the same way

as does even my cable account and bank account and credit cards as well as my other online accounts

when you create online accounts write down your passowrd and e mail addy you used to open the account .. and keep it in a safe place

the game is 11 gig on my drive ..so sorry no it wont fit on one DVD disk from 2012 \


ALSO when this game shipped it PRE dated windows 10 also so you may need to take a few extra steps to get it to run
