Does it hold up?

Does Far Cry 3 still hold up after all these years? I've already beat Blood Dragon and I'm thinking about getting 3 as well however I'd like an opinion from people who've played it weather or not it's still worth the money
Edit: on a side note is a 2GB Graphics card enough to run this game at around 30 fps?

Yes you will able to run it decently on your pc,far cry 3 is slightly more demanding than blood dragon.I am running this game on a amd 6670 ddr5 slighlty overclocked 6-7 years old budget gpu on mostly medium on roughly 30 avg fps.
And your GPU is only 2-3 years old midrange one,so you can easily run it.You can check your video card benchmarks,but it can easily run games from 2015 at high or ultra settings.
However some people have troulbe playing fc 3 on win 10.

Im currently replaying it with Ziggy's mod,, LOVING IT.

But I've actually gotten further this time than I did in vanilla:)

I always play with Ziggys Mod, still playing it, i love to ambush and have fire fights, even better now i can play in 4k ( boasting here :))....), don't play vanilla !!!, i would also like to see others stratergies in playing the game, i try to not go overkill on weapons so my bow is the most used, the MP5 is my favorite and i like to stealth, in my rerun now i am only doing the camps where you get the exotic animal skins, that way there is more chance of keep running into enemy patrols.

Blood Dragon and 3 have no relation almost at all. I still recommend you play 3 because its an amazing game.

For the OP -

3 has held up better than any game I've ever played - still fun still looks great (maxed out)
STILL the one game in my entire library that I would rather play than any other.
