Farcry 3 not works in Windows 10 64 bit? :(
I have farcry 3 bought in steam and linked the account in ubisoft latest version, however only loads the screen of the game "synchronizing data with the cloud" and after that nothing happens. I have already tried to run on win 7 and 8 compatibility, but to no avail! Help, I do not want to ask for a refund for this great game.

works fine here with win 10 Pro 64 bit .. how bout ya post your full steam system info file

so we kinda know what we are dealing with ..with your problems ?

or contact ubi Support ..your choice ....

please do the following if your posting about an issiue with a game crashing or not starting,
post your FULL Steam System info .. this helps ... as no one can say what your problem may be until we know all of whats involved.. on YOUR system , we would only be guessing ....Ok ? thanks !

now look up top in steam look for where it says Help (right above the word LIBRARY)
(you will need to exit big picture mode if you have it active in Steam)

clik on that (it will open a drop down menu)

then clik system information

let that load , only takes a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that window

then select all

then right clik again select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

Works just fine on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and with same gpu as yours.

I7 6700k with 1080ti here. FarCry3 ran like crap for me until I went into Nvidia Control Panel > manage 3d settings > threaded optimization=off. Don't know if this will help you, but some older games may not play nice with all these cores/threads we have nowdays.

Did you try to install complete uplay client from ubisoft site?
tramper May 18, 2018 @ 3:12pm
One reason why i have stayed with Windows 7 for older games like this.

yes. official ubisoft site.
Different issue on my end, the game crashes consistently. Tried about every fix I've come across, gonna have to resort to installing Win 7 on a different drive. What a shame...
