In what sense is my question dumb? Have you played the game to its end? If not thus the spoiler tag line. If u have played the game then put on your thinking cap and respond with an intelligent answer. If u wish not 2 contribute 2 the thought process then simply do not respond at all as u clearly did not do with your first reply.
My question revolves around the idea in which a sister would try and help out her brother knowing someone is coming after them with the intent 2 kill. Thus citra giving vaas the knive, the same one that Jason gave 2 citra just a few scenes back. Point in thought, how did vaas get the knife if he didn't get it from citra?
How did vaas know Jason was coming to his small island rigging it 2 catch fire if citra didn't first warn vaas that Jason was coming?
Jason never brings it up, which is interesting by itself, but then drops the entire ordeal as if it never happened. Citra doesn’t seem too surprised that he survived the first or even 2nd attempt from Vaas trying to kill him but we know that Dennis told her about him not dying so we're not shown how she reacted to this news.
After a 3rd full play through the game, I found it rather strange that Dennis is holding a gun as soon as Jason crawls out of the mass grave pit of bodies. this is the only time we see Dennis holding a gun in the entire game. Jason then makes it a point to ask, “Who did this” only for Dennis to state that it was Vaas making a show of Jason’s death. It feels as if Dennis was the one that killed them only to hide Jason’s body.
We know that Dennis is in love with Citra so it wouldn’t be that far off to state that Citra knows this too. If she wants or is trying to kill of Jason in a roundabout way, it would then also makes sense that she would tell Dennis to hide Jason’s body. I believe she feels guilt over wanting Jason dead but wants to save her brother first and foremost. To quell the locals of what Jason has done already she tells Dennis to kill a bunch of people and make sure Jason is at the bottom. Who’s going to question some dead locals when you state that Vaas and his men did this?? Why would Vaas bury Jason anyway when it would be a better show to string his body up as a testament for others as a stern warning not to screw around with them.
The question I now have been thinking is if this was true, why didn’t Dennis just shoot Jason then and there? Pride, is my only guess. Pride in his own believes that Citra is indeed the true queen with powers to save Jason. Also how lucky can a guy be to keep surviving it all… anyway Dennis is so shocked that Citra’s powers extend to Jason that by killing him himself he would in turn hurt Citra but I’m still trying to think through that logic.
the other point that made go "wtf why?" where to 2 mission befor confronting hoyt where you and sam go aut an about breaking your undercofer to destroy the communications and fuel depos.
I gues the game has a true action movie like plot writing. XD
