next time write DOWN the e mail and password you use for your Uplay and any and all online accounts you create in a lil book and either keep it in your desk or in the bottom of your PC
do a password reset via the web .. yea it takes an hour or two till the servers update
so no its not an instant thing
i have my Ubi password written down in a lil black book .. i opened a ubi Uplay account back in 2007 ..todays date is 6\22\2018 ..so 11 years without an issue
never had a problem with my steam account or any of my bank or cc or other billing accounts ..
? why
?
i learned to write things down ..a long time ago and keep em safe
again your best bet use twitter .. they answer tweets pretty quickly ..and on the twitter page they have longer support hours i think
https://twitter.com/UbisoftSupport
if you do not have a twitter account make one .. and yea write down your password and keep it safe !
call it a life lesson
the reason it fails from too many login attemps is for security
banks do the same thing ..same with Steam same with origin same with my cable company and electric company , as well as all credit card sites .. ..you need to contact them and provide ownership of the account ..they do it that way so no one can steal your account
The people that are going to remember their UBISoft password are the people that don't want to have this problem. LOL.

Single players need to call home to validate the person playing has the digital rights to use the product. You can probably install/activate and play single player offline without the UBI login, but in order to install/activate you have to authenticate.
As frustrating as this is, I'd guess you would be more frustrated if someone broke into your UBI account and hijacked it completely so you can't login and play at all, then they play all your titles.
It really is best practice to increase the security further with two factor authentication:

I really hope their automated lockout only suspends from that same source IP address, because if not this creates a huge denial of service vulnerability.
