I think you missed the point.
The line itself is f***ing stupid. This bitc* doesn't know what "Depress the pedal" means? Is she 5?
ahh ok, i thought you didn't.... nevermind
The point is pretty clear to me then... she' a hollywood actress that knows knows nothing about cars...
But at the same time read again what you asked lol
Yeah I read what I asked. It's pretty damn clear. I respond to the characters question.
"What does that even mean?!"
"Wtf do you think it means?!"
And hollywood actresses (or aspiring actresses as she didn't actually go to her casting call) are not THAT dumb. It's just bad writing. They wanted to try and make Jason seem like he was already really experienced in being an action adventurer when compared to his girlfriend.. which makes zero sense considering he's only been doing this for all of 12 hours at this point.
Considering the theme of the entire game is Jason losing himself to the island and falling into the "Rabbit Hole", I'd argue that yes... this was just a poorly written line trying to show how much more experienced Jason was than his girlfriend.
