Far Cry 3 Classic edition not for FC3 owners ?

So people who own FC5 will get FC3 Classic edition, which is probably a remastered version.
I think people who own FC3 deserve the classic edition too, or atleast with a big discount.

Its not a remaster. Its only a singleplayer port to current gen consoles cause they dont have far cry 3. Its not even comming out on steam

It's only going to be for PS4 and XBOX One.
It'll only has updated textures and higher resolution.
Basically a port with Ultra graphics setting the PC version have, with maybe a bit better optimization since MSAA on PC is a bit of a mess.

Because the current version on Steam is having trouble with Win10 owners.
If they re-release it with updated textures and higher resolutions, i suppose it will be a updated version and less people will have problems to play it.

No they did not update the textures on the calssic edition. Its just a port set on ultra graphics. Pc already has that

nope Steam users who buy the season pass for FC 5 or the gold edition get just regular FAR CRY 3 added to their account 4 weeks before FC 3 classic ships for PS4 and X BOX ONE

FAR CRY 3 CLASSIC edition is sp only on consoles but yes the graphics will look more like the current PC version ..as the old version out on X box 360 as well as PS3 bad vid chips .. the new console have better vid chips that support DX 11

far cry 3 that PC users get is regular old FC 3 ..not rememastered in any way

The pass also includes a trip to a completely different game, that being Far Cry 3. PS4 and Xbox One owners will actually get the single-player only Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, but for us it's the standard edition on Steam.

Yeah, it's a really a remaster, and they never advertise it as so, it's just a release on the current gen consoles. But I do wonder, have they release any information whether it's gonna be 1080p 60fps or 4K 30fps/60fps? Far Cry 3 isn't a very demanding game, so PS4 Pro and Xbox One X should run it at 4K 60fps, right?

yep it will in Uplay just like the old game did

by the way fc 5 season pass owners do get the far cry 3 deluxe edition ..thats what it added to my uplay account today anyway ..an yep its a uplay only copy since i bought Far Cry 5 gold as a uplay only version

an yes my old steam version of FAR CRY 3 deluxe still works

so now i see 2 copies of the game in Uplay ..still my original one only in steam

when i launch it asks what to i wanna play .. choose far cry 3 if you have the game on steam already

choose far cry 3 deluxe it will not launch since i dod not install the latest free version as there is no need to as i already have FC 3 deluxe

far cry 3 classic is only for consoles and is SP only........ PC users just get FC 3 Deluxe

far cry 3 classic on the console is not a remasterd version .. it only has better vid settings for the the new consoles ..to run in DX 11 ..the old version on console looked like poop compared to the PC version after all

How do I access Far Cry 3 Rediscovered? I only show Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon in my library.
