Lost Uplay Account; Game is in Limbo Now
Hey, all. I purchased FC3 a long time ago here on Steam and enjoyed it. Some years later I lost my Uplay account and now it's impossible for me to play it since it requires that same Uplay account. The same happens with Trials Evolution: Gold Edition. I made a new Uplay account and contacted Ubisoft support first to see if they could clear up the issue, but after a month of no reply this is what came in the mail:

"Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Support.

I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. We have been extremely busy as of late and are working to answer all of the support cases that are coming in.

According to our records, we do not see Far Cry 3 associated to this account.

If the game was retained in an old Steam account, this seems to be an issue related to the Steam Client / Service. You will need to contact Steam Support directly for assistance."

I wanted to see if I could somehow contact Steam support directly, but the website's streamlined system doesn't seem to allow me to do that. So now I'm left with the conundrum:

How do I contact Steam support to at least let me know which Uplay account these games are connected to, or to request further assistance?

Thanks for reading!

if you bought the game on steam you can prove ownership of it

you'll have a recipt in your steam purchase history

take a screen shot of that as proof of purchase

your far cry 3 game is tied to the uplay account e mail you used .. ..so yea your gonna need that info as well ..if ya used some weird e mail account you should have written it down

ALWAYS WRITE DOWN ACCOUNT E MAIL AND PASSOWRDS you use when creating any online account..keep them in a little book in your desk .. so you dont have any hassle in the future ..i been doing that for over a decade ..never had a problem

to contact steam support your gonna have to use steam support site

ubi support for account problems always use PHONE or Twitter or face book are your fastest options .. (Steam does not offer that level of support sadly )

for Uplay Account Support you can try to contact them by Phone
you can find phone number\ support options \ and support hours information @ https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Contact#en-gb

if you have an account problem call em on the Phone or use twitter or facebook are the fastest options or WEBCHAT

here are the twitter and facebook links

Thanks for your feedback guys. Seems like I may have lost 2 games, but no worries. I'll see if I can try something else?

And I wasn't aware that people did that Shadow Ops, thanks for giving me that perspective.

if you dont end up getting farcry3 back you should not be too worried, a few days ago I went back to it and the game is honestly pretty crappy tons of sound bugs, save errors, clunkey controlls, the bloom is out of controll, just heaps of little things that add up to a not evey enjoyable experience. I would ask for my money back if I had less than 2 hours of play time. saldy I put more than that on it back in the day. but it is an ubisoft game none of them are good or without heaps of bugs.

there is no way ya get 1500 FPS so quit lying ..so give up ..the game works fine if ya have a decent PC to play on .. i mean jeeze it works on the OLD system i built for my Brother

ASUS P5 B Motherboard > from 2009
Intel Pentium dual core pentiium E 6600 CPU
8 gig of DDR 2 ram
ASUS Nvidia 9800 GT vid card
Win 7 home edition 64 bit

played thru the game fine on that old POS system . so i am guessing you have

1.
no clue or not enough PC

2. (or are on a craptop )
or
3. have more PC power then you can handle., that you can't configure or understand

..1 of the three
