Unable to login to Uplay, reset Uplay account, or contact Ubisoft

Hello, I am unable to login to my Uplay account, I cannot get through to Ubisoft via email, phone or support ticket. When I call the US call center I get a reccording telling me to submit a support ticket or do a live chat, both of which require a Uplay account which I cannot login into for reasons unknown.

I initially created the account with minimal trouble (encountered an error indicating that account creation was unavailable for a while), however eventually I managed to get my account working and received email verification. After trying a reinstall of Far Cry 3 to solve a freeze/crash issues, I discovered that whenever I try to login my Uplay account Uplay tells me that I have the wrong username and password, which is strange because it worked previously with no issue.

I used a purchase code for Far Cry 3 on my inaccesable account, so now I can't play my game.

So far I have tried to solve the problem by:

1. Uninstall and reinstall Uplay from Steam along with Far Cry 3 (4 times) - FAILED

2. Uninstall and reinstall Uplay from the download at the Uplay account site - (4 times) FAILED

3. Changed Anti-Virus and fire wall settings- FAILED - had no effect

4. Tried to change the password on my email account to see if that would fix the problem or if I had forgotten a character in the password (which I don't think I did, but I ciuld be wrong) - (6 times) FAILED - I get the link to change my password in my email, but when I go to the link and try to change my password I get an error that contains no information, its just a red box at the bottom of the screen with an X in it. Seems like a Uplay account system error.

Because I can't get in touch with Ubisoft at all I'm at a loss of what to do. I want acess to the game I PAID for and it seems like no matter what I try either Ubisoft's systems give me an error or require a login to get help.

Has anyone else had this problem and found any soultions? Does anyone know how to get a hold of support at Ubisoft??

if you log in too many times YES it locks your account ..

thats done for security to make sure you are YOU

banks work the same way as does Steam if you log into a differnt username and account no your games will not be there and you have no acess to them

my advise make a twitter of facebook account

and try contact ubi support via twitter is usually the fastest option

ALWAYS ALWAYS WRITE DOWN the e mail and password you use when creating online accounts

and NEVER use the version of Uplay that steam installs with the game you need to uninstall that right away ..
THIS GAME IS SEVERAL YRS OLD and no it does include the updated current version of Uplay with the game files on steam or even on the DVD copy


download the updated version of Uplay and link your steam and Uplay account

i have gotten a hold of Ubi support via twitter as well as e mail an Phone many many times for other family members that forgot to write down account info .. each time they were back playing their games within an hour

ffs I hate this.

I have a fresh installation, licensed copy of the game freshly downloaded, clicked play and ...yay the ubisoft dance.

Steam is set up with everything they need to automate logins even if they want to make us click through a redundant ubisoft launcher. It is idiotic that customers are ever inconvenienced by this.

Edit: Also, I find it hilarious that it now encourages you to set up two step auth now with a tiny skip button on the left. Actually amplify the crappy experience for Steam users next time they reinstall, thanks.
