How bad is the game? Really?
In this discussion, many people express that the game is useless for them and that it is too buggy to even play. Others say that it is frustrating due to bugs and similar issues.

This makes me wonder—I have never experienced any major bugs while playing this game, except for some minor ones, all of which were later fixed (at least the ones I encountered).

Is this simply a result of the fact that it's more common to sit down and write about your frustrations, or is this actually the overall experience for most of you?

Just curious :)

I sometimes clip through objects when using the grapple hook (can reset location and vehicle via menus), often the dropped structural pieces intersect visually, one time my lorry got flipped over. That said, for the most part nothing really game-breaking happened to me as player and lorry locations can be reset, and the intersecting plates etc. are just a visual.

I have all the DLC's and just have the usual small glitches that they eventually seem to fix.
That said, I have learned to finish any ship I'm working on before they release any new stuff and put the game down for a couple of weeks till all the major bugs get fixed before I pick it up again.
Less frustrating that way.

Sending out a big thanks to all the early adopters that help them iron out those major bugs.

I play it for every DLC when it comes out. There are always glitches, and some of the basic gameplay will change or glitch until they fix it.

It's still a ton of fun. I happily buy each new DLC when it comes out. I haven't regretted it.

I just lost all progress on a kursk after playing about an hour because I didn't realize the magnet crane was STUCK early on, which prevented saving. Before that, I lost half progress on the first sub a couple times just from save going poof while playing on steam deck. The game has a fun gameplay loop but you WILL experience very harsh bugs.

edit: both of these bugs were experienced Today.

If you ever played multiplayer you'd instantly experience and learn to attempt workarounds for like 6 major bugs that will pop up everytime you play
I must admit that I never played the multiplayer part. I wasn't a fan of the idea from the start.
@Shazoo: Ack! I guess I've been lucky not to have experienced those situations.

Just moved on to Big Chung and it’s literally unplayable on Steam deck on very low graphics. Almost melts the deck. How does this get approved to have the yellow playable icon for deck users…
