from what i noticed when it does the check mark on a ship is that you completed all the contracts on the ship and the achievement is unlocked for it.
it might include finding and picking up the collectible for the ship now not sure on this part
any ships you completed before the update that introduced the check mark it was pre war ships dlc patch and pre collectibles patch you'll have do again to get the check mark
Not working for me:
Ship for $10. I completed the achievement (complete all contracts) and completely dismantled it. I had a check mark, but when I cleared the area to buy a new ship, it disappeared
Checked files and everything seems normal and the newest version of the game is downloaded, so idk what to do
are you running the directx 11 or directx 12 ver they some times have different bugs
DirectX 12. I have earlier version and how to change it ?
if you don't have it asking you every time you need to get to the options
you need to be on the library page in the steam client
there are 2 ways to get to the properties menu is either by
1. left clicking on the game and clicking on the gear from the page that comes up and selecting properties
2. right clicking on the game in the library and selecting properties
once the properties open. make sure it is in general and ad you'll find the option is in the drop down box next to selected launch option and you just need to switch to the option with directx 11
there should be a button on scheduled updates to push them to download or you can drag them up to the section above scheduled
check steam client up date used to pull game updates at times other than relaunching the client. also disabling and enabling dlc can sometimes force update as well
