Podeba (?) on Steel Giants dlc problem
Can anyone tell me is there a serious problem with this ship as I have cleared everything I need to but the front winchables(?) never become available to pull off. I ahve checked and double-checked to see if I have missed anything but can't see any reason why they won't disconnect. Is it a bug? Any help would be appreciated.

There seems to be an error in how this ship is assembled. There are some things that stop you from pulling these plates off that aren't actually attached to it. If you continue taking the ship apart eventually they will be released.

Thanks for that. I thought I'd got everything off and I'm pretty certain I've got the whole of the front of the ship unlocked but I'll try what you say and hopefully it will sort itself out. Thanks again.

The Podeba was a nightmare to dissassemble.
So. Many. Rooms. And. Corners.

Anyhow: i might still have an older save somewhere but if memory serves right, where i could look up the connectors.
i too had missed one of the orange glowing connectors you have to unweld.

There was also one of those square floor tiles that i had overlooked on one of the upper decks but i _think_ that was on another ship

Thanks for your comment. I've genuinely gone over the front of the ship umpteen times and checked every possible cutting site but I still can't disconnect the top three rows on each side of the front of the ship. I've even cleared out all the debris that had fallen in case I missed something but couldn't find anything. One problem I did note was that one of the triangular cross pieces that you have to use the saw on was not active. I've tried and tried but the saw just doesn't activate on it. It's on one of the lower tiers so it shouldn't affect the upper tiers surely. I have this nasty feeling that if I do get to the end of the ship (and let's face it it takes ages to do) then I may not be able to crane away the final hull pieces. One other thing is the rail at the top of the tiers at the front - I'm wondering if this needs to be removed but I can't find a way to do it or even reach it.

You have my sympathies, it's a really tough job. Hope you have better success this time round.
I've salvaged every single piece of this ship and was still short o low alloy steel.
