Kursk not possible to finish
First its very bad solution to put the radiation in the rear part where many machines are located right under the upper covering. Right now i lost 5 machines and died approx. 30 times but can´t remove one blue connector on the right and on the left side. They are in an edge and can´t be reached. I tried many times from all directions, but does not work. Because of that i can´t remove the covering to get machines and radiation out. So iam stuck. And the radiaten at this broken position is really annoying

just blow it. a lot of the issues with Kursk can be solved with bombs...

You were right. After trying little bit it was possible. Thanks. :)

I'm still doing Kursk but so far found a radioactive crate directly under an electrified section with no switch. Had me stumped for a while but explosives did the job in the end (I never use them so didn't think of it).

Now I'm stuck unable to remove parts of the hull. As far as I can see I have everything disconnected but nothing gets highlighted. This is the section behind the missile launcher tubes or whatever they are supposed to be. It looks like you need to take this bit off, then the smaller sections above those will come off but no luck

I've just finished Kursk and it took me absolutely ages. I had similar problems to you and I don't know if this will help but I found that I had missed the torchable sections right on the top of the dividing sections (if this makes any sense), right on the top of the arc. It gives the impression throughout that finishing this sub won't be possible but it definitely is - it's tough though.

I don't think it's possible to finish Kursk in version 8780 without losing some machines because you had to remove the floor supporting them. Also we're back to the problem of turning off all the power boxed but still having some rivets electrified. I did manage to find the collectable and to finish all the contracts.

it is possible to finish it, not real easy to do but can be done, except for the middle hull, which can't be removed. The only thing's I lost were 2 pallets of radioactive material, which I had to destroy.

the missile door trigger is covered by the door itself. There is a tiny spot in the crack of the bottom of the door that you can access from the exterior. I wondered if this is supposed to be a challenge or a bug and I can only call it a bug that you cannot see the trigger from the outside and it's a bug that it cannot be accessed from the interior of the hull.

Thanks!

Kursk took me 5.5 hours to fully clear, however some heavy cargo was unintentially lost. There's very specific order you need to destroy certain elements to ensure no heavy's will get destroyed and lifting out hull pieces. There should be a feature in the game that lets you see the remaining connectors of cranable objects all the time. Now ive had to use the winch in order to show the pieces for a few seconds, destroy a few, walk back winch again, check the red panels, destroy them rinse repeat.

I´m totally stuck! I can´t remove the top parts of the hull, in the end where the sub is open.

I got stuck on this for ages too. I dismantled everything around it, and I still couldn't pull those first two pieces of hull off.

It turned out I needed to remove the ballasts (not just the door flaps, but the ballasts themselves) before I could pull the hull off (but you have to start removing the ballasts from the middle of the sub before you can take out the two closest to the front).

That´s crazy. We should have waited a few weeks before buying the dlc, until the fixed all the ten thousand bugs. I destroyed at least 6-7 cargos etc by this time,

I think I got the radiation out without losing anything, peeled the ship carefully from the back (I'd get the grapple out, run down to the winch, try to pull the red part so it highlights the connectors, then rush back up and break only those and using about 4 bombs per side was able to get the sides to open so I could winch them off. then I used bombs to break open the cage it was in, and one bomb looks like it might have broken a winchable, are there 2 pallets of radiation, or something directly on top of the radiation? if so, I lost that, but nothing else. it will be a few days before I get it edited, but it will be on my crappy yt channel, still have to edit the end of the first sub, then 45 minutes of looking over the kursk and starting the teardown before I get to the radiation. Thanks to the warnings here I went super careful.

At first I thought it's impossible to do a perfect salvage of the Kurks, but now I think it can be done. The heavy cargo only needs one supporting tile, so you can safely remove the outer tile:

This ship turns the game into a sort of puzzle challenge, quite unlike the other ships. Much more challenging if you want to achieve 100%. I like it.
