Submarines so far
I-400 is fine, the odd minor glitch here and there, but fully salvageable and all contracts complete, easy fare.

Kursk, not so fine. Starts off well enough, once you figure out the conning tower and missile bay covers, but soon after that it starts to slip.
Approximately midships, there are 2 smaller heavy objects on upper levels, but sides and ceiling are one piece and to remove these hull parts, only way is to destroy these heavy objects as they are close to the hull and the floor plates have to be removed to allow the hull to pop out for the winch.
Then we have the stern section with the 3rd radioactive material on this sub.
The sides and ceiling are once again one piece, necessitating in the removal of all connecting floor plates and weld / cut points.
The radioactive material makes navigating the upper section horrendous, you are frequently inches from being rendered unconscious while trying to pop the required rivets, at least another 2 heavy objects are destroyed as they are on the hull floor plate line that has to be destroyed to pop these hull pieces and it just altogether sucks, not to mention no crouch binding on controller, and you have to crouch, a lot.
There are also a number of very fiddly torch cut points, but all can be completed.
If you get through all of that, it is fully salvageable and all contracts will complete.

Ohio I will start tomorrow.
Good luck all and happy hammering!!

I confirm your conclusions on the I-400. No real problems. One machine I couldn't figure out how to extract, but that may just be me not seeing a solution.

Yeah, I'm currently trying to figure out that radioactive bit at the stern of the kursk. It's a pain. Next plan is to go in a floor below the top floor and see if that works because you literally can't do anything when entering the top floor. The contract also seems to be weird. I'm almost done salvaging the entire thing and I'm having issue with the copper. I'm still missing something like 200kg copper and a few other things. It's still possible I can find those but in case of the copper it just doesn't seem to register anything. Those wall and ceiling panels according to the scanner contain copper but they don't count towards the contract when you thrown them in the truck. And I may have lost some copper because of those heavy objects getting destroyed as a result of it being impossible to remove them without destroying them or because the floor beneath them got popper after removing pieces of wall that give you acces to the saw points or remove obstructions to them being craned away.

In general it seems that recently the radioactive things have been made more dangerous, making it really annoying to get rid of them.

Same thing with me and inadvertently destroying several heavy objects near a radioactive crate. Same thing with copper not registering for me, I am about 2000kg/4500kg, so I don't think I will be able to complete that contract.

Yea, the Kursk is really rough. Either I'm constantly destroying heavy objects on accident or having to crawl around the radioactive stuff barely being able to see anything. There's a lot of connectors that only work from one side but not the other.

The worst part so far is on the left side of the ship, roughly in the middle there are some electrified connectors above heavy objects which are a radioactive object. Those connectors also hold the hull and I can't for the life of me find the box to turn them off and at this point I think it's bugged and doesn't exist since I've deconstructed everything around it.

i like kursk but she has alot bolts to bust
the power leavers are there but well hidden hahaha
how to open up the missile bays took me a while realy nice touch
i like kursk alot

I'm working on Kursk right now, and I confirm that machinery around the upper radioactive crate (the back side of the sub) cannot be retrieved due to the fence wall nearby being TOO close to them, and you can't remove that wall without breaking the floor that supports the machines.

UPDATE :
So I dismantled Kursk, but I only got 47/80 Electric Boxes. I believe items thrown into mobile cargo DO NOT count toward objective, or save / load makes boxes disappear.

Can you not use explosives around the radioactive material. That’s how I got into them on the destroyers, blowing decking etc away. Same for electrical rivets/decks

That’s a system RAM/VRAM issue it sounds like? Too much rendering overload

So far I was able to dismantle the back half of the kursk... There's a couple of heavy objects which you kind of give up on because of their placement. I haven't been able to remove the top hull parts from the front of the sub, the winch can't pick them up because they say there's still something attached. And the crane can't pick them up directly since they need to be removed with the winch... I also found a bug that sometimes, even if you destroy the right panels, the game expects you to remove the fallen parts before it actually lets you use the winch

Same problem here in regards to the top hull parts on the front of the sub...I've removed every connector possible but it still tells me I need to detach things. So bummed...I got so excited when the Japanese sub dismantled with zero issues...

its the high setting i switched to verry high textures now it works

The connectors you are missing are very small ones on the OUTSIDE of the ship. you have to walk along the very small lower edge of the hull and destroy them with the torch then they will pop open and you can remove them with the winch.
Took me a good bit to find those as well.

Yeah ... those connectors open each of the missile bay doors, and then you can use the winch to bring those down. Then you have to free the missile covers, but need to start from the back, to the front :)

Very buggy couldn't get 4 sections after front nose section out on OHIO sub. Disconnected everything but still showed that stuff was still connected.
