tools stopping!!!!

so if u encounter the problem where the tools stop working, the way to fix this without having to reload ur game is to simply look away from the object ur picking up then look back at it and hit the E button. this will cause the game to go back to the pick up by E mode which in return turns the tools back on.

I asked the dev about this issue. It's probably fixed in a patch we're preparing for you, but our QA has to check it before we send it to you. ^^

I reloaded my game and that fixed it for me.

i have also found out when using the saw and the tools stop working if u click and hold the roller wheel on ur mouse and bring up the tool grid pick the hands then release the button the tools will start to work again

I had this with the hammer, keys wouldnt work, scroll wheel wouldnt work, but i opened the selection circle, selected fist and that sorted it

This needs to be the #1 priority for the devs to fix this week. None of the above tips seem to work for me and this bug was especially bad while I was working on the Carolina. I had to go back to main menu and back into the game at least 20 times. Infuriating.

Yeah, it's very high on our priorities, just like frequent crashes observed by some of our players. Thankfully, our community (I mean you - our dear players :D ) is very helpful, so we're already finding causes and possible solutions. We prefer to make the game work without asking you to turn off an antivirus or changing screen resolution to 1920x1080, so it'll take some more time, but hey! It'd take much longer without your help. :)

So theupdate came through today the problem with the tools is now to the point of stopping all together. for some reason now when they stop i have to exit out then go back in just to get em to work again.

Yeah, unfortunately the tools stopping entirely has not been fixed. Hopefully soon though!

Yeah just had my tools freeze a second time today -_- unable to switch tools or even use the one its stuck on. Constant bug.

Exactly this. It's not just the cutter anymore, but any tool can break it. It happens a lot, lot more often now.

from once every ship to at least 10-11 times now.

yes the tool bug is nowso bad that i have stopped playing the game altogether.its pointless to play when im having to exit out and go back in so many times. Please can anyone tell me how to quick fix this if there is a way...........
