Hello all,

There was recently maintenance on the servers, which is why online portions of the game may have been greyed out for players lately. If you have been having issues connecting then please try again now. Further connectivity issues may require additional assistance.

The changes in the latest update for Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, version 1.0.5, are as follows:

1. Changed the logic for fetching RedLynx Picks tracks when entering Track Central.

2. Improved UGC track metadata fetching process in Track Central.

3. Improved Track Central’s advanced search.

4. Fixed a bug in Track Central’s advanced search that caused some search criteria not being sent to server.

Track Central should be loading much faster, and players should be able to more quickly download tracks and post leaderboard times..

I bought this game today on Uplay (why bother with Steam when I HAVE to use Uplay anyway for this game). The game runs fine for me except ocasional slowdowns/stuttering. The devs always told that these are issues that the performance is not enough but the stutterin sometimes occurs and sometimes it does not - on the same track and with the same things to process. There is also a sownside reducing the resolution from the native resolution of your monitor (which mostly is 1920+1080) the bicuture gets etremely unsharp. Please devs fix those slowdowns everybody is waiting for years now!

Yeah this is pretty ridiculous. Game's been out for YEARS now and Devs still can't either un-cap the framerate, or add more optimization options to the game. And don't give me some crap excuse about "The game needs to run at a constant 60 fps." Cause I own games that have a LOT more things occurring at a time than this game, and I'm talking games like Arkham Origins and Bioshock infinite ect. THIS STUTTERING SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING ON TRIALS GAMES!! You can add options to lower the physics engine (Like most games have on PC) Because you really don't need to have PhysX quality Physics on this game. You guys are simply lazy developers who try to fix something a couple times, then wave the white flag. You can't seriously expect me to recommend this game to anyone with it's garbage optimization.
