Trials Evolution Gold Edition

Anyway to find out which uplay account is linked to my steam account?!
I created a new uplay account and activated my Trials evo CD key onto it, I launch the game and It prompts me to link my (new) uplay account and steam - I hit yes - It says "This steam account is linked to a different uplay account, please sign in" yadaydadya... Is there anyway I can figure out which email is attached to my steam account? I already went through all of my like 10 email addresses and cant find anything.... PLEASE HELP. I also called uplay support and they cant seem to find which account is linked to my steam account either... We searched by steam account name and all of my emails.

I'm glad im not the only one... I have 10+ email accounts attached to thunder bird and I only found one email that was tied to uplay back in 2011. Yet this email doesnt show a linked steam account or any other games for that matter...

According to the uplay employee i spoke with a bit ago.

uplay and steam doesn't link to each other. Steam starts uplay when you start the game. that's it. Once uplay is started, it doesn't report back to Steam at all.

What people think this is is because many people use the same email as they use on steam but steam and uplay are completely different services.

This is wrong. This game specifically asks you to link your accounts together.

It asks you to link the GAME to Uplay, not link Steam to Uplay. And this is accomplished by starting the game and when the game is running, uplay automatically starts too and takes you through the steps to activate the game on uplay. It's the game, not Steam.

You do in fact link your uplay account to your steam account. The reason for this is so you can see your friends track times, them on the track (Ghosted), join off them in game and other features. As I mentioned above I tied my serial key to the new uplay account i made and went to tie it to my steam account but apparently I already have a uplay account linked to it. If i was some way able to figure out which email (uplay) was tied to my steam account I could contact uplay support and they could change my steam account to use my proper uplay account (The one i created earlier that has my cd key attached to it)

Oh joy now I get to wait 4-6 days for a response via a ticket system from a BILLION dollar company who does have a freaking support number...(Sigh)

Like I said, this game is different from other Uplay games (which don't ask you this, to my knowledge). I've owned several and this is the first time I've been asked to link the accounts together. And as you can see from the screenshot Mr. Frigo provided, it does indeed say to link accounts.
I have same problem.
It did work for me the first time I played the game. I told it to link accounts and it did, and I could see a friends ghost time on the track I was racing.
But now everytime I launch the game it asks if I want to link accounts, and when I click yes it tells me the account is already linked to a different uplay account.
This is impossible, as I only have one uplay account and one steam account, AND they linked and worked fine the first time.
Uplay strikes again, methinks. Piece of ♥♥♥♥ software, very badly made and maintained, with a horrible UI, terrible network code, and glitchy programming all round.

I contacted Steam and (waited 4 days) then they basically said they dont have access to uplay accounts and basically missed my question entirely...I just wanted to know if they had some record of what uplay account/email was tied to my steam account...

I already contacted uplay support via the phone directly and the guy had no idea what he was doing it seemed like. As I mentioned above he searched the uplay records for any uplay account attached to my steam account name and all of my emails and nothing came back.

I called the steam support line today and got my issue resolved, it looks like they can help you link accounts if you have the serials for some (not all) of the games on that account.
