How can I invite my Ubisoft Connect party to play with friends

Heyo!

It appears that the online multiplayer is back after not working properly for a long time and it looks like there's quite a bit of interest from the community for this 10 year old pearl. However, there's an issue with the "invite party" option.
The "invite friend" works as I am getting the invite in Ubisoft Connect (eventhough I have to use the desktop app to accept it since the overlay doesn't seem to work)

However, as mentioned before that's the end of the road since I can't invite my party and I also don't get any invites.

Is there any way to fix this or get around it? Sadly I can't send invites over Steam either.

I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues joining friends online in Trials Evolution.

Could you and your friends please go through the connectivity troubleshooting[www.ubisoft.com] then try again to see if that helps.

Hi there!

Thanks for the reply, I understand this is an old game so I'm happy that there's an official response at all!

Sadly, the recommended steps didn't solve the issue.

Inviting a friend to play (=into a party) works, however I need to accept the invitation in the Ubisoft Connect client by tabbing out of the game as the overlay is not working. To play together one needs to "Invite party" which does not show up neither in the client nor in the game.

I feel like if there's a way to get the overlay to work in that game that could be a possible solution as everything except the very last step seems to work.

Are there others with that issue?

Sorry to hear that the steps suggested by Ubi-Keo didn't help to resolve the issue for you, thanks for letting us know.

I can confirm that this issue was passed forward to the team, who are currently looking into it.

Although I can't give you a time frame of when this might be addressed, once there is an update, it'll be communicated via the Ubisoft Social channels.

I apologize in the meantime for any inconvenience caused, I do hope you'll be able to play with your friends as soon as possible.

There was an update some time ago that changed the old Uplay overlay to the new Ubisoft connect one so *theoretically* it should work. Haven't had the opportunity to try it yet
