some suggestions

overall i like the game, but there are a few things that i hope can be improved :

1. when attempting to place new items in the room, it should not have collision detection / make it optional per item. Otherwise, especially in the default room size, too many items are not deployable as you have to find a space to deploy the item, then disable collision detection, then redeploy somewhere else. most of the time the item can't even be deployed in the first place due to room size.

2. reediting room size once items are placed, it seems like all items of the walls are removed whenever i do anything to existing walls. it would be better if it can remember the item placement

3. I constantly feel the items UI from the left is always blocking my main game view

4. no large radius ceiling to light up the whole room? all of the ceiling lights i tried placing have small radius

5. sorry to say this, but the dlcs....they come with too little things inside. Eg, i tried creating kitchen theme, bathroom theme, and they really lack items to create a more diverse room. Also, pets dlc...it really expected more, but it feels like there's only some cats and dogs and not a whole lot of other pets or what u can do with it. Ideally it should have us placing items like ability to decorate the pet houses and cage items as a hobbyist where we can really enjoy decorating a pet house

Yeah i agree, having pretty much the same issues

for #1 i think the solution can be to allow player to edit item's stats prior to the placement or when u move/relocate it

for #3 making the items UI to close automatically once you click an item would be great, and make reopening it to show the same previously opened page, i think you can make a settings toggle for that function, or say make shift-clicking on the item to not close the menu automatically

As for my personal problem, i would love there to an option to copy the current room, like the entirety of it with all the items to another save slot, to have 2nd same room, as i tend to really need this feature from time to time
